Buffalo Wild Wings Inc.?
wants to take over the defunct Sacramento restaurant owned by ex-NBA star Chris Webber. But it's not a slam dunk deal.Golden Valley-based Buffalo Wild Wings (Nasdaq: BWLD) wants to occupy about 80 percent of the former Center Court with C-Webb restaurant and nightclub, the Sacramento Business Journal reports.
The city thinks it's a great idea that the wings-and-beer eatery wants to move into a space, which has been vacant since 2009.
There's a catch: A city rule forbids tenants from spending 50 percent of the appraised value of the building on improvements. And the restaurant's unique design, which includes a sunken floor and basketball court, will likely call for some major renovations.
Webber played about half of his 15-season NBA career with the Sacramento Kings?
