At the very end of ?ABC World News,? Jonathan Karl had a segment on the ?Plan B? vote (it would eventually fail). After the segment, Diane Sawyer had a few kind words for Karl, announcing his new role for ABC viewers.
?I want to congratulate you on a new reporting role for ABC News, our new Chief White House Correspondent,? Sawyer said ?We are so excited and looking forward to seeing you over at the White House.?
